Founder & CEO - Kevin Watne

In 1981, Kevin Watne—President and Founder of Generation IX—made his name by providing business-level support for the original micro-computer systems. He recognized early on that while technology was changing rapidly, applications kept lagging behind professionals’ needs. A single point of contact was needed for fully customized systems, tailored to specific uses. Kevin built his reputation by meeting that need, and he built his career on his ongoing support for the systems he implemented. Many of his original clients are with Generation IX to this day.

Kevin founded Generation IX, when it became apparent that the demand for his unique brand of computer support—and, especially, the desire for a one-stop solution for all computer and network related services—was going to skyrocket over the years.

To date, his vision has been more than vindicated. Generation IX has grown four fold over the past 10 years and has set its sights on further expansion.
